Needless to say, losing several hours on one of Sea of Theives' tricky Tall Tale quests is a big bummer. You won't immediately fail Shores of Gold, but you could very well be stuck without a way to return to The Gold Hoarder's chamber and be forced to abandon the Voyage. If you die during your fight with the treasure-hoarding skeleton lord, there's a chance that instead of respawning inside the same room you'll be teleported to an entirely different area-the catacombs for the newly-added Hearts Of Fire quest.

The final fight against The Gold Hoarder is where this nasty bug can really knock you down a peg. Shores Of Gold will take you to the northeast-most corner of the game map to complete multiple hours of puzzles, fights, and traps with your crew. The very last quest in the Shores Of Gold story is a Tall Tale by the same name. Rare are aware of the issue, but it might be best to steer clear of that particular adventure until it's definitely solved. There's a nasty new respawning bug that can set you back hours in the final Tall Tale quest in the Shores Of Gold story. I know it's not a big deal, but any ideas on how to get this horse back? Money is not easy to come by in this game, and I'd like to either sell it or keep it (I had already went quite far in the bonding process with that horse).There are many ways to lose quest progress in Sea Of Thieves, whether it be an attack by the kraken or fellow pirates, but a bug is definitely the biggest bummer way to go home empty-handed.

When viewing the map, the old horse shows up as a temporary horse, with a white icon, up on that mountain out west. I can't even shoot the old horse to put it out of its misery no angle to shoot it. When I break camp, my new horse (the Arabian) is next to me, and my old horse is on the mountain - in a spot where I cannot get to it and it won't come when I call it. Not wanting to die on the way (and have any chance of losing this new horse for any reason) I camp and cook meat to regenerate my health. Halfway down the mountain, I realize my health is low.

Of course, I jumped at the chance - a lassoed it and then used that new Arabian horse to lead my original horse back to Valentine. I went out west (searching for treasure) and ran into a white Arabian horse - one of the rare horses in this game (incredible stats!).
